 The founder and president of Schanzer Financial is John Schanzer. John, his wife Pam of 25 years, and 2 daughters Katy and Brooke live south of Houston, Texas. Pictured from left to right are: Katy, John, Pam, and Brooke. John is a Dave Ramsey Certified Debt Coach; he has 27 years of investing experience and is completely debt free. Before becoming debt free, John and Pam had been in debt by a sum of $176,000. Katy and Brooke were still very young and their college funds were small. John knew he had to do something, and do it quick. With their income, there was no extra money for college. Going further into debt with student loans was not the answer. John and Pam decided the best thing to do is become debt free. It took the Schanzer’s several months of working overtime, part-time jobs, and selling things to get out of debt. Katy and Brooke will both graduate college completely debt free. John has taught his daughters about the dangers of credit cards. Katy and Brooke both use debit cards for their every day expenses and have never had any money problems.
John has created this company because he sees a great need to educate people on everyday personal and small business finances. The service he provides is strictly about teaching and preventing people from making costly mistakes. One of John’s rules is never put money into something that you do not understand.
John lives a stress free lifestyle and would like everyone to experience what being debt free is like. The Schanzer's are members of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, in Hitchcock, Texas. John’s hobbies are hunting and fishing. John is also a private pilot.
We also have programs for college students and newlyweds just starting off, to prevent them from getting into debt. John is also available to do speaking engagements at churches and businesses.
